Step 1:
We Empower Families.
This is a holistic program that is about more than adding a zero to your paycheck. This is about a complete look at your life while learning the skills to fill in the gaps. We can all improve on our communication, parenting, and management of our lives. This program is not a quick fix. It takes time and sustained effort to make these long-term, meaningful changes.
Step 2:
Quality Housing.
Home safety is crucial for protecting you and your loved ones. A secure home provides peace of mind and reduces the risk of accidents and injuries. Click here for some tips to help you improve your home's safety.
Step 3:
Personalized Weekly Plan.
Each week you will complete a weekly plan. This plan may include 1) an action step to overcome a barrier; 2) research to better understand the next steps to take; 3) a personal challenge to overcome a fear, or; 4) a step to improve your employment, education, skills, or finances.

The RISE program is all about empowering families to achieve self-sufficiency and stability. Our unique approach focuses on providing resources that are tailored to meet specific community needs, enabling us to implement programming that makes a real difference. Unlike traditional assistance programs, RISE offers a hand up, not a handout. This innovative program was developed in response to our five-year Northwest Project pilot program, which was generously funded by the Community Foundation of the Ozarks.
About The Curriculum & Eligibility Requirements
Employment.
You must be employed or actively seeking employment.
Commitment.
You must be willing to commit to our 16-week core programming that meets once a week.
Your Housing.
In order to take full advantage of our program, you must be in stable housing and not facing homeless or eviction.
Education Status.
We require a high school diploma completion or equivalent, or you must be ready to complete the HiSET exam within six months.
